2011 Chester’s Anvil Zinfandel Mead Ranch - USA, California, Napa Valley, Atlas Peak (8/3/2014)
Just a couple more months of resting has brought this wine into greater focus. It is still a primary, berry focused wines, but it also is showing a bit of spice on the back end that makes it even more interesting. Good balance/no heat. Excellent wine for the grilling season!

I drank mine too early. I’m certain they would have benefited from more time. Glad yours showed so well, David.

Drank all mine too soon as well. I think some mid-term aging could have been interesting.
