Reading Paul H’s recent post rating WB vintages 2000-2010 made me realise I haven’t had any 2010s yet, so can’t rate the vintage. Thought I should rectify that, so opened one.

Always seems a lot of love for PYCM here so thought I’d post the TN.

2010 PYCM Meursault Perrieres. Wax capsule.
This has a cool calm and collected nose of mineral flowers leading to a perfectly balanced expression of Meursault fruit on an acid frame and a 30 s finish. The last MP I had that was this good was a 96 roulot.

Love it. For mine, a top tier MP producer. Glad I have more, but wish I had even more.

This is extraordinarily high praise.
The 1996 Roulots when sound are as good as Meursault gets to me.

I had this recently, as well as a bottle of the 2011. They were both excellent, but the 2011 might be aeven better than the 2010.
