TN: 2010 Jean-Michel Guillon Bourgogne (France, Burgundy, Bourgogne)

2010 Jean-Michel Guillon Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (6/8/2014)
Medium to dark ruby. Nose of earth and black cherry. Silky mouthfeel. Spice, black cherry, tea on the palate. Medium to long finish. A really nice Bourgogne, worth the price. Affordable burgundy which is as enjoyable as any 50 dollar new world Pinot as I have had in a while. (91 pts.)

Not a producer you see much of. Generally thought to be more on the modern, riper end of producers but with a good degree of elegance and focus retained. I had a very nice tasting there 2 years ago and left with several cases of his 10s.
