This is a new producer for me. I posted about this wine a few weeks back as part of an in store tasting. It’s still damn good. More similar to a Luneau-Papin to me with the savory character than a Pepiere.

2010 Domaine de la Louvetrie (Landron & Fils) Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Sur Lie - France, Loire Valley, Pays Nantais, Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine (3/21/2012)
Screw cap closure. Expressive nose that is more herbal than fruit driven with lots of fresh water minerals. More savory like characters on the palate like those is grassier Sauv Blancs figuring prominently over the citrus underpinnings. There is acid enough to support the fruit though it doesn’t scream out and is a wee bit tart and kicked with minerals. There is a slightly bittering quality towards the finish like that of fruit skins. Good stuff. More expressive as it warms up so don’t serve too cold.
