2010 Delarche Pernand-Vergelesses Les Boutières VV Réserve - My first 2010 from bottle. Holy Oak Batman! This is just totally saturated with oak aromas and flavors but there is a nice wine underneath. I can see the family resemblence to the other 2010 Ive tried (it was a barrel sample). Rich but not confected at all. Nice stuffing and length. It has decent structure so it could age long enough to mellow the oak but I’m not sure I would want to risk it.
Was this the North Berkley import? People have said some of these wines have plenty of oak.

That is certainly the pattern. This was way over the top though. Maybe its just been a while since Ive had a NBI wine (besides Raphet which never seem as bad).
