Not too bad, a little better than previous bottles (some age has helped). PnP, some brambly notes and decent fruit. A little alcohol on the finish, which might be addressed with a brief decant. Some mild to medium tannins on the backend. This wine would probably be good for another 3-4 years. Drink now or hold. GOOD. (88 pts.)

Hmm… I have had this wine too and my experience was far less positive.

I’m not a cakebread fan at all, but I have a few bottles left from long ago and am trying to drink through them to make space in my cellar. IMO, cakebread is overpriced with very mediocre quality - a “supermarket” wine.
