Popped and poured. What a splended bottle of chablis (I’m trying to be a more refined note writer!). A crisp and clean bottle of wine that was as refreshing as an after squash Perrier. The nose of unripe pear, apple, and specifically oyster shell reminded of the aromas I encounter sailing off the coast of Kennebunkport where I summer. This is precisely the perfect wine for many a lobster bake I’ve had on the beach with Chip and Muffy (Shhh, they think I’m serving Raveneau and Dauvissat). This wine exemplifies exactly what an AOC chablis should provide. What a fantasic QPR @ $15 from the local Costco (Please don’t tell my “friends” I have a Costco card). Lovely. 90+ pts.
