TN 2009 Rivers Marie Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Popped and allowed to air for about 1/2 hour. Red cherry, flowers, and spice on the nose. Palate follows with red cherry, wild strawberry, barrel spice, and a hint of green pepper (not a flaw-actually added to the nuance and helped complement the food).

Paired with Shaking beef - Rare Niman flat iron steak over carmelized red onions, watercress salad and a soy-vinegar pan sauce.

My girlfriend really liked this wine. She won’t be happy I only bought her 2.

Better on Day 2 when I popped one earlier this week.
