TN: 2009 Long Meadow Ranch Sauvignon Blanc

Found this at random at Costco today for just under $13 a bottle. Good acidity with lemon, kiwi and pineapple with a touch of the grassiness that one usually associates with Napa SB. It isn’t weedy like some can be, or underripe by any stretch…just on the other end of the spectrum from the “higher” end SBs like Spottswoode, Araujo and Herb Lamb EII/Two Old Dogs. At this price point, a no brainer to buy by the case for the long hot summer that is heading this way.

For those that care, label states 12.9% ABV.

Good note great producer with un-napa price points. Not to mention their restaurant has a $2 corkage with no limit, which Is donated to St. Helena high.

I bought a bundle of these Thursday and have been working through them. I’d give them a good for $12 rating, but certainly not up to speed with the best out there.

John, completely agree.
