Over the past year i’ve become intrigued with the wines of Galicia; Ribeira Sacra the foremost amongst them for me- They have the pure fruit and rocks I love from the Rhone ans are usually fresher and lower in alcohol than today’s rhones- This was the first Valdeorras I’ve tasted and it was fantastic. Tasted over 2 nights, Juicy is the word that comes to mind again and again. Stony as well- at $15, this is ridiculous value.
