2008 Tercero Grenache Blanc Camp 4 Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Ynez Valley (1/8/2010)
13.5% alcohol. This is absolutely terrific. Light yellow color. Beautiful nose of grapefruit, green apple, minerals, and a faint floral note. In the mouth, racy and elegant, with crisp citrus and apple fruit, bright acidity, and a strong finish. Terrific QPR. A-

It’s been a while since I had Larry’s Grenache Blanc - good stuff (even if it has the aroma of raw onion from sitting out at Falltacular!)
This is rocking good stuff. The 2007 was excellent, but this is right on par. Way to go, Larry!
Tom,
Thanks for posting the notes - and glad that you’re enjoying this wine. It’s my favorite of the 3 that I’ve made - I really dig the acidity. Hoping my 09 will be as good if not better - but won’t know for a few months!!!
Cheers!
In the meantime, the 2008 rocks. I was really impressed. This is great stuff – and terrific QPR.
I ordered 6 of the 08s today!!!
I ordered some of the 07 reds today. Reports to follow.
