NOSE: crisp, tropical nose of spicy pear with hints of florals mixed in; not complex, but very “pretty” and quite enjoyable in its own right.
BODY: pale green-yellow color; medium-full bodied.
TASTE: lanolin and minerals; oily mouthfeel; a dry Gewurz.; 12.5% alc. not noticeable; watery pear/apple; this seems a bit too light to pair with most foods (it performed better on its own than when paired with a spicy pork stir-fry), but would probably work well with white fish; very light rear palate; 30-35 sec. finish. A QPR champion, clocking in around $15 with wine club discount. I waffled between 87 and 88 with this, and ultimately went with 88 b/c I simply enjoy drinking this stuff.

I didn’t write a note on this wine in CT but had it about 2 weeks ago and agree with you. Pleasure to drink on it’s own, very light, but awesome to have as a drink before dinner (or with a light fish as you stated.)
A slightly smoky/grassy nose leads into a palate with lots of minerality, lanolin, and a tropical life savers aspect to it; finish is lengthy, but not intense; 12.5% alc. not noticeable; simple, but very enjoyable. This wine was complementary to the milder Thai dishes on the table.

Gotta agree…like the wine. Reminds me that I need more.

John,
I know where you might be able to find a little

Cheers!
NOSE: moderately expressive to expressive; diesel; pear; gentle lanolin/waxy minerality; a bit perfumy.
BODY: brilliant light yellow color; medium-light to medium bodied.
TASTE: moderate concentration of fruit flavors (mostly nectarine) — this tricked me into thinking it would have more r.s. than it did – it’s actually pretty dry; minerality comes through on the finish; hints of musk; this seems to be getting better with time – this was better than the 2 previous bottles I’ve had, as it’s starting to develop some slight tertiary character on the Nose, and is gaining some weight on the palate; 12.5% alc. is not noticeable; medium length finish of moderate intensity. Drink now or continue to hold; I like where this is going.
