2008 Siduri Pinot Noir Sonoma County - USA, California, Sonoma County (1/11/2010)
14.1% alcohol. Just such an impressive wine – for the vintage and for the price. Aromatic black cherry and spice in the nose, with a floral hint. In the mouth, juicy and delicious, with spice framing the black cherry fruit. Good acidity and a strong finish. Never fails to please. A-

I know this wine!
The famous wine critic Sadat X has recommended it!
Unfortunately we cannot buy it here in Europe. Well, back to Chateauneuf then…
Cheers

Tom,
Thanks for the note. I haven’t tried the 2008 yet but will need to soon. Adam does such a great job with his appellation wines. To me the best value in pinot noir, period.
We had one of these last week. It took a little while to open up, but showed nice depth to the dark cherry fruit and spice. There must have been some awefully nice fruit in it. I got the floral component as well. Great value!
