    Really good. Like the Puligny village, this was also served a tad warm, but it showed really well. I thought it was a step-up from the Puligny in fact. It had a very entrancing, showing lots of depth and complexity for such a young wine in its melon scents, sweet apple flesh and nutty backdrop. The palate was really nice too. Mouthfilling flavours of white fruit, apples and pears were traced by fresh acidity that added a nice focused feel, and sprinkled with mineral and spice tones that carried the wine into a finely detailed finish. Really nice stuff, with a real sense of poise and balance - this is a good wine to put aside in the cellar for a few years. (92 pts.)

This is one of my very favorite Beaune blancs when it gets a few years on it. (Actually it can be one of my very favorite white burgundies) I can only imagine what this 08 will become. Thanks Paul.

I’ve had this wine a couple times over the past few months and been impressed both times. Very attractive delineation. Recently polished off my last 02, also engaging but cut from slightly riper material.

An 02 of this wine from a few years ago is ingrained in my tasting memory. I can still taste it-just fabulous! Of course, 2 bottles since, although very good, never measured up to the first. Always wondered whether it was a source issue, since first came from a different source than the others and what remains in my cellar.

The 1989 and 1992 versions of this wine will absolutely knock your socks off. 1989 held up next to an absolutely fabulous 1995 Leflaive Puligny Pucelles recently.
