2008 Domaine Michel Lafarge Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (3/23/2012)
Ahhh…this is a really nice simple sipper…a little rough at first…some sharpness…but a little air does well…very translucent, bright and fresh wild berry fruit, tartness, dried florals, and spice. Has the '08 crunchiness, slight earth and dried tobacco, and REALLY appealing florals! I’ve been drinking a few of the '07 Volnay, which I really like but can’t afford to drink everyday…this is a really nice, and less costly way, to drink Lafarge everyday! For $20 bucks…no brainer!
