Since we are in the midst of change, I (again) vow to take and post more tasting notes. Democratize not compartmentalize!

2008 Domaine La Chapiniere Touraine - France, Loire Valley, Touraine (4/26/2010)
The last of my 08’s from the Great Enabler. I preferred the 07 version, but still really enjoyed this wine, and the region is a great QPR! Synthetic cork perfect. A light straw gold color. Big nose of lime, steel and stone. Mouthwatering lemon/lime/grapefruit/wet rock with a touch of herbaceousness (thyme?) on the back end. Good acidity, almost too much when first opened. I would caution about serving this too cold. The viscosity adds length to the finish. 13%. (89 pts.)
