2008 Celler Piñol Terra Alta Nuestra Senora del Portal - Spain, Catalunya, Tarragona, Terra Alta (8/23/2009)
We needed something else while getting ready for pizza night and something to drink on BART. This wine is a nice little daily quaffer. A blend of Grenache Blanc (70%), Sauvignon Blanc (20%), Viognier (5%), and Macabeo (5%). Lively, crisp palate with peaches and white flowers and a little tropical fruit. Finish is a bit short and it is a bit lean but still a nice daily quaffer for about $11-12 IIRC. (85 pts.)
