2008 Bruno Colin Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte 1er Cru 13.5%
Very pale gold color; fresh floral nose (acacia?)
Still a little unintegrated oak up front (this dies down later), followed by white fruit, slight honey, steel/minerals; hazelnut at the end of a very long finish. Complex. Drinking beautifully right now, a real treat (though no signs of pre-mox, could go longer).
Seems very pure, very clean, almost crystalline—not a producer that I otherwise know, but appears to be a “traditionalist"? (Kermit Lynch imports.)
