  • 2008 Beresan Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (9/14/2015)
    Inky dark purple, ruby with cassis nose. Dry with dusty tannins, bold fruit and body with some restrained finesse, blue fruits, black currants, plums and a nice acid component to balance the fruit and tannins. Finishes up with some earthy mineral along with some cedar and well integrated tannins. Back to the cooler weather and I am liking this more than the syrahs I have sampled lately, less jammy to my palate. Getting softer and better with more open time. (92 pts.)
