Got this from a Berserker exclusive in the Commerce Corner. $17+s/h (normally $24 from winery). I was impressed. I’m going to order some more.

2008 Ayres Vineyard Pinot Noir Willamette Valley - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (12/17/2009)
Opened at ~57F. Pop and pour. Cranberry in color. Initial aromas of bright cherries with some blueberries. Some baking spice and a touch of cedar on the nose. In the mouth there is a delicate balance of acidity and minimal tannins with some juicy strawberries. Silky and light bodied in the mouth. Finish ends a little short, but everything is in harmony. Well made for a entry level pinot.
After extra minutes in the glass stronger (sour) cherry aromas emerge with some vanilla on the nose. It puts on a little more weight in the mouth with a slightly longer finish.
