TN: 2008 Arcadian Chardonnay Sleepy Hollow Vineyard

Checking in on some Arcadians as we put together details on a big Arcadian tasting we have coming up.
This one is delightful as always, with its best days still ahead perhaps.

Subtle oak, rather full-bodied. There’s richness that’s appealing, as it’s backed with a line of acidity that zings. Juicy notes of green apple, sappy fruit and a long, expansive finish that lingers in all corners of the mouth. Seems to become more streamlined and edgy with air. Still unfolding. Youthful. No rush. Terrific.

I jusT have the 2006 and 2007 SH Chards left. As I recall, those were ready to go.

Good word on the Joe’s Chardonnay offerings. I concentrate on the Pinot Noir but whenever I try a Chardonnay I am duly blown away. Nice note.

I’ve not had the '06 in a few years, and I’ve never had the '07. I would agree that the '08 is ready, but maybe not peaked imo

Thanks, Doug!
