    Popped this to accompany pork chops with mushrooms and sauteed green beans. The wine is pretty large, for a true coastal vineyard, but still well balanced and tasty. Shows lots of dark, creamy cherries, a little cola and some earth. Pretty decent acidity keeps it fresh and somewhat bright. Very well done. From Thomas Brown’s vineyard up in Annapolis. 91-92/100 (91 pts.)

I should add the disclaimer that I help Andrew out at his winery from time to time and consider him a friend…that being said, this is a pretty darn tasty wine.
