Beautiful bright berry, currant, leather, earthy, savory herbal aromas complemented by a medium+bodied, focused albeit youthful flavors of bright black cherry, blackberry, black fig, provencal herb, floral and a minerally mouthful of crunchy-textured flavors with a finish that goes on and on. I found myself repeatedly coming back to a different expression of earthen fruit every 10 minutes!!! Loved it (93 pts.)

Sounds real good and up my alley. Good QPR or some French celeb with a vineyard selling $50 bottles?

Ha! Hope it’s the former, too.

It is interesting that French celebs will go to more obscure appellations. It’s hard to imagine a recently coined NASCAR champ deciding he would make Livermore Carignane…

More likely Finger Lakes, being familiar with Watkins Glen and all.
