2007 Weingut Clüsserath Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett trocken - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (11/22/2009)
Simple floral and green apple aromatics, a mid-weight palate that is neither fruity nor displays any zingy Riesling acidity, but nice balance. The finish is impressively long for a basic bottling and it has a pleasant peach pit bitterness to it. This is a straightforward wine that’s not going to excite anyone, but it provides a satisfying taste of dry Riesling for a casual supper and at 6€, is priced for daily drinking.
