  This beauty is half grenache, and a quarter each syrah and mourved. Opened (screwtop) about an hour before tasting. It’s dark ruby red. Very attrative aromas of rasberries, asian spice, and cherries. Rich and concentrated red fruit flavors with smoke spice and overtones. Great purity, balance and concentration. Cris Cherry sources grapes from the best vineyards in Paso. Cris knows what to do with premium Grenache and Mourved. Extemely enjoyable! This will continue to improve for several years. (92 pts.)

Nice note Mike. This bottling is always my favorite of the bunch. I love the red fruits the grenache brings to the mix.
