The wine is $13.95 but I had some hopes for this just because of the Turnbull name. Well, don’t bother, the wine is horrible. Very sweet, fruit is steweey, but the wine is not damaged. Tastes like one of those Gallo Hearty Burgundy wines that I used to drink when I came to The States.
I’m a big fan of Turnbull and think highly of their wines in general, but this one is undrinkable. I’m surprised they continue make it as it’s not even close in quality to any of their other wines.
PS- the Turnbull black label is a fantastic wine
