2007 Ste. Chapelle Cabernet Franc Ice Wine - USA, Idaho (1/11/2018)
Dark rusty amber, nose of stewed prunes, medium sweetness with a nice tart note for a good balance. Medium body and fruit of golden raisins with a bit of stony mineral and leather. Drinking the last glass 10 nights later, I should say sipping, sublime tonight, velvety mouth feel, getting a little ripe peach and the nose just wafts up, delicious with the acid complimenting the sweetness and giving a youthful zest at 10 years, could easily go another 10, just a touch of stony mineral on the finish.
