TN: 2007 SCEA La Tache St. Joseph Cuvée Guillamy

2007 SCEA La Tache St. Joseph Cuvée Guillamy - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, St. Joseph (11/24/2013)
This is very correct and drinkable St. Joseph. Plenty of meat, pepper and red fruit. Not a lot of tannic backbone, but I have plenty of other wines that need cellar time.

Any info on this producer? How’d you come across it? Always on the lookout for “correct” northern rhones!

Selection Massale. Apparently the folks who are involved with this do a lot of the vineyard work for other producers.

Thanks to the both of you!

I really liked this and the 2009 St-Jo “Badel” - which I am drinking now on night 2 and it is really showing well.

Haven’t opened a Badel yet. Not long though.
