TN: 2007 Rhys Alesia Pinot Noir Falstaff Road Vineyard

  • 2007 Rhys Alesia Pinot Noir Falstaff Road Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (10/11/2009)
Touch of cola over cranberry, cherry and pretty spice. Lengthy palate with a focused mineral cored finish. Loamy earth and tannic cherry flavors. Plenty of fruit and acid. Try to keep your hands off for a couple more years. Very good.

Early shipment?

Thanks for the notes!

Nice note, Cris. Spot on. Tasty wine that’s going to give a lot of enjoyment for years to come.

Special shipment. [wink.gif]

Bastard!

As I sit with my 06 Pali Keefer, I would gladly trade up for the 07 Alesia Falstaff…2 glasses to 1 in fact!

Hey, I can’t get an answer on my wish list (not holding my breath) and you’re getting special shipments?

Just kidding - have way too much Cali Pinot to care.
Happy to have a vertical of this from 2005 forward, and not in a hurry to drink up the 07 - but thanks for the early note.
