    Had this by the glass at a local restaurant…same people involved with Ghost Block, The Wine Co…brand of the Bonded Winery #9. I tell you what…this was killer juice! Reminded me of a Ghost Block Cab with the creamy blackberry/cherry fruit, some graphite, anise, subtle vanilla oak barrel…VERY smooth and polished for a Zin. Very much quality Oakville fruit. But still had classic Zin flavors of white pepper, bramble, kirsch. Forget the wine by the glass…get me the whole bottle! Looking forward to another bottle, and getting an even better sense of this wine. (94 pts.)

This was $11 b-t-g…$38 for the bottle. EVEN BETTER…the restaurant, which also sells wine, had a case(6 bottles) special…$120 otd! [thumbs-up.gif]

Buzz, that outfit seems legit. We got a ton of their 2006 Oakville Cab dumped on our local Costcos on the cheap. I imagine they did well in 2007 across the board.

Thanks for the note, sounds pretty tasty. I just had their Oakville cab (06 I think) and it was a little plain to me, very similar in profile to Ghost Block…haha as I am typing this I am realizing that this zin probably won’t be my style if it is just like Ghost Block. However I’d like to try it!

I hadn’t seen that…they are nuts! I’m drinking another bottle tonight…this is tasty stuff! Not as rich and complex as say a Carlisle…but I like the finesse, and correct Zin-ness of the wine. A wonderful pop-n-pour at any occasion Zin.
