2007 Novy Family Wines Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (1/26/2009)
Screw cap. Creamy nose with slight butter and some reddish stone fruits. Palate sows nice weight and richness without being over bearing with solid acidity. I’ve had this blind before and mistook it for a Chardonnay made in a more traditional style. Very nice and well priced. Makes me wonder what kind of sparkler could be made from this. Held up over 3 days consistently. A unique treat from Adam.
Don’t serve it too cold as the chill really flattens the richness of the wine making it rough like it does good Champagne.
