TN: 2007 Mas Grand Plaignol Costières-de-Nîmes Tradition Blanc

Very tasty. Nose is lanolin, honey, pineapple and meyer lemon with a little earthiness. The palate is rich/oily like you would expect with a white Rhone, some minerality, loads of peach/pineapple, honey, tropical fruit. Finish is a touch short but this is a pretty nice $13 wine. (88 pts.)

Although I am a fan of S France whites, not much of a choice hearabouts in Alberta. Thanks for the note!

I’ve had a number of vintages of this wine, and it’s always a pleasure to drink! Great balance and restraint…
