2007 Marcel Lapierre Morgon - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon (2/12/2010)
As always, impossible to stop drinking this stuff. Weightless, seemingly effortless, silken, absolutely delicious.

Hello Steve,
I quite agree, Lapierre’s Morgon is totally lovely just to sit and drink. It may not ask too many questions from you but you still feeling like always having another glass. I had the 2007 last summer and was charmed. A proper Beaujolais. Many thanks for the note.
Cheers,
David.
+1 (or is it 2?). Quaffable and then some.

Guess I should crack one soon…
Just had the 2000 last night with dinner. First pour was a bit spritzy and wierd; just a very little bit, though. 10 minutes later, spritz was gone but the wine was dull. Over the hill? Half an hour later, it was fabulous.
