I’m having fun with 2007 Volnay right now. Another pretty one last night.

  • 2007 La Pousse d’Or Volnay 1er Cru Clos de la Bousse d’Or - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Volnay 1er Cru (2/13/2012)
    Transparent light red. Slight oak notes and earthy nose.Very elegant and fresh. Finesse. Pure, ripe red fruit that is refined and detailed, yet balanced by cool minerality. Just a nice presence in the mouth. Like the other Volnay 1ers I’ve had, this is tasty right now. Yum stuff.

Very nice note. I wish had backed up the truck and loaded up when these 07 Pousse d’Or Volnays were released.
