    Decanted. Dark ruby red. Somewhat opaque. Nose included cassis, plum, spices, dried leaves. Beautiful mouthfeel, with notes of spices, cardamom, juicy dark cherries. Firm structure, with fine tannins. Turns a bit hot at the finish. Some time to integrate and this will be even better.
    The spiciness of this wine paired really well with the rotisserie-grilled Armenian spiced leg of lamb. (93 pts.)
