Admittedly this was a little early, but I couldn’t help myself. I look forward to seeing how this wine ages.

  • 2007 Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (6/14/2009)
    Translucent ruby in color. Nose of pine straw and faint cherries. Beautiful light weight with flavors of cherry, spice and cola on the palate. Medium length finish with slight tannic grip that suggests a little more time might improve this. (91 pts.)

It was an enjoyable experience, but I would recommend a lengthy amount of air if you are as impatient as me.

Thanks for the note, Josh. I’ve been tempted to try one of these, but I’ll go ahead and have some patience. I like Keefer Ranch, the site, very much. I don’t think I enjoyed the 2006 Estate version as much as some others, although it is a very good wine. I expect excellent things from the 2007.
