Light yellow-white in the glass, with an attractive nose that speaks of apples, pineapple and slate. Spicy, with brisk acidity, ripe apples and a nice finish on a light-bodied frame. According to the label, 13.5% alcohol (although given the way it comes across, I would have expected it to be more like 12.5%). All in, a very nice pinot blanc, and if I recall correctly, a price right around $20 a bottle, so pretty good QPR for a somewhat uncommon varietal.
