TN: 2007 Evesham Wood Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity)

Just picked up a half case for about 16 per.

This is an incredible value. A rich fruity nose, a wonderful velvety yet supple mouthfeel and a great blast of red berry in the mid-palate with a gentle kiss of tannin and acid on the finish. Not hugely complex but with a very nice purity of fruit that is just so expressive of the AVA . . . .

If you see it, buy it.

Can’t wait to try the Grive Bleu . . .

The Eola-Amity I had two weeks ago was very tight for the first half hour. The Grive Bleu on the other hand was more open for biz and much more concentrated. I look forward to your notes.
