TN: 2007 Domaine Robert Arnoux Chambolle-Musigny

  • 2007 Domaine Robert Arnoux Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (2/6/2011)
Popped and poured. This needs time to flesh out. Initally I thought it was completely closed but after about 2 hours it started to finally open up and show some fruit. This is a typical delicate Chambolle finesse wine so it may fool people used to a larger scalled PN. This has a nice lacy texture and crisp raspberry fruit. The nose is very reticent and probably why it shouldn’t be drank now. So this is in a relatively closed & unevolved stage but give it time in the glass if you take the plunge. Proabably best to wait 3-5yrs if you don’t have many. (90 pts.)
