I had this with roasted pork loin, pumpkin risotto and spinach. The wine was much, much happier being consumed with food then as my aperitif while cooking.

2007 Domaine Diochon Moulin-à-Vent Vieilles Vignes - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent (11/1/2009)
Nose of cherries, minerals,earth and maybe a touch of brett. The combination makes a lovely sniffer. Medium body, minerally and great gamay red fruits - I get strawberries, cherries and rasberries. Tannins are pretty smooth. This is a classic Moulin-a-Vent “Iron glove over a velvet fist”. Very good.
