Deep ruby. Rich and opulent nose. Pretty barny for Marcoux. Dark and rich nose. On the palate, full bodied and sensual: rich and supple, with black olives, black cherries and blackberries, meat broth, heme, licorice, thyme, black licorice, some white pepper, and more than a touch of merde. This has darkened up a fair amount since release and is becoming more complicated. Great transparency as per routine for this wine. Still pretty big and with youthful power. Deep and pure. Very long. I like this a lot. 92+pts (92 pts.)
