TN: 2007 Delas Les Launes Crozes Hermitage

Definitely not a modern style. I funk on the nose too a long time to blow off. Nice color. Very earthy and a lot of dirt on the palate. Traits I’ve picked up from Crozes before. But not really in other N Rhone Syrah appellations for some reasons. On day two the wine lost some of its stuffing and didn’t have enough to go with food. The acidity was there alright, but structure was almost gone. A bit soft. Not a very interesting wine. And I’d say not a great QPR for $20. A decent wine with no real flaws, but nothing special going on.
