    13.5% alcohol. Opened the night before. Dark ruby. Muted but pretty red and black fruit aromas. On the palate blackberries, blueberries and a touch of white pepper. A tannic backbone lurking in the background. Very lush mouthfeel, rich and well balanced. Lingering aftertaste. I’m going to hold off a year or so before popping my next one. This was a little closed, but shows great potential. (90 pts.)
