TN: 2007 Copain Pinot Noir Tous Ensemble (USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley)

2007 Copain Pinot Noir Tous Ensemble - USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley (6/16/2009)
Medium bodied, medium garnet, very nice bright dark cherry fruit, nicely focused with excellent acidity, touches of earth, quite a nice mid-palate, though it eases off a bit early on the finish. This would be tough to pick out in a good Burgundy Village lineup, say 2005. Very nice Cali Pinot, a bit on the simpler side, but a really nice easy drinker. (88 pts.)

I agree overall, pretty good wine.

Full disclosure, we sell this stuff.

We sold this BTG. I wish I bought more than 4 cases before it ran out. It was extremely well received and, at $12/glass, a nice value, as it paired with many things on our menu.

Excellent wine, which I’m convinced will improve with a little age. The 2007s from Copain are stunning.

Thanks for the note.
