  • 2007 Charly Nicolle Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru (8/7/2009)
    Ripe nose with a bit of mineral. Forward ripe Chardonnay with strong mineral acidity but lacking in the mid palate. The second night saw the ripe fruit lay way back, too far IMO. A good amount of fruit here but not structured very well.

A Garagiste selection. Pretty good but the ripe fruit didn’t smack of classic Chablis while the strong minerality did.
