TN: 2007 Chappellet Mountain Cuvee, Cab/Merlot

A really nice QPR that offers nice red and black fruit, nice spices, not much wood and decent acidity. There is some noticible alcohol, but not bothersome for my palate. If it wasn’t for a slight streak of grapiness I would score it a few points higher. 90 points

Price is $19.95 at SDWC.

These Chappellets always turn into something very nice if they actually spend more than 45days, 8 hours, 35 minutes & 18 seconds in the bottle. [basic-smile.gif]

I like this wine and my store sells it. That’s a great price. It is below MD wholesale!
