2007 Carlisle Petite Sirah Dry Creek Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (4/21/2010)
14.8% alcohol. Medium dark but transparent ruby red. Expressive aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate we have intense blackberries, cassis, smoke and black pepper. Very well balanced and an exceeding rich mouthfeel. Delicious. Another triumpth by Mike O.! (93 pts.)

Man, and I thought I killed my 2002 Carlisle PS early when I drank it last week.
. Nice.
Awesome note, I just popped an 03 last week and it was singing.
So tempted to bust out one of these … I’ve got a buddy who loves PS …
I popped a bottle of this two days ago and it was worth it. I drank it with a few friends and what stood out was just how incredible the aromatics on the nose was. The wine itself followed strong behind that and has a superb finish.
