2007 Booker Vineyard White - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (6/14/2009)
Deep Golden Color to this. Nose of honey, some floral characterstics, a lot of orange and a bit of lemon. Full bodied wine with a caramel and strangely a bit of cocoa powder flavor to it as well. A little hot on the finish. Could use more acid to balance this out, but still a tasty wine.

Had this down in Paso at HdR and was pretty fond of it also. I liked the complexity, and I too, did notice the cocoa powder. Interesting. I wonder what this wine was aged in. Stainless/oak combo? Calling Eric Jensen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him over here.
thanks for this note. I plan to buy their Fracture every single year, love that wine. I’ve been curious about the white, sounds interesting and similar to McPrice Meyer’s whites, which I adore.
