2007 Alain Jaume Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Reserve
Purple/ruby in color. The nose is great. Black raspberries, charcoal, violets and leather. Full bodied. The palate is not as good as the nose but still nice. It took about an hour to open and then was very drinkable. Raspberries and some cherries. A bit of cranberries. Nice finish. I will lay a couple down for 3 to 5 years as I think a few mixed cases of the 07 CdR’s will be a good thing to drink over that time frame. 50+4+13+16+6=89
