    The siege of the Rhone Rangers continues.This one from Cris and Jo Anne Cherry. 80% Mourved, 15% Syrah and 5% Grenache. Popped and poured. An expressive blast of perfume on the nose. Elegant and concentrated on the palate with blackberry, rasberry, red cherry and extremely attractive floral and peach overtones. Well balanced, pure and delicious. Cris Cherry may be as good or better with Mourvedre as anyone in California (Mike Officer and Dave Corey also excel here). Mourvedre may just be better in CA than anywhere else. This is just yummy. I had a bottle of this a month or two after receiving them from VC. I loved it enough that I immediately had to order a few more bottles from them.

During the fall e-mail flood, I was placing my order for the new VC releases and saw they still had some in stock and added three more bottles to my order.
